As a High School and Collegiate athlete, Elissa has always been passionate about health and fitness. After playing Varsity Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, and Lacrosse for Andover High School and Varsity Field Hockey for Babson College, she paved the way for a lifelong career relating to teamwork and helping people succeed. Elissa is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), is certified by Jackson’s Martial Arts, run by Greg Jackson, for Tapout Martial Arts and Self-defense, and Striking certified by Brandon “Six Guns” Gibson.
With a degree in business management and entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona Jason has combined his passion for business with his commitment to a healthy lifestyle. In addition to being the General Manager at Tapout Fitness Woodland Hills, Jason is also one of the main group fitness instructors for Tapout Strike, Tapout Fit, and Tapout Strike/MMA for kids. Jason is certified by Jackson’s Martial Arts, run by Greg Jackson, for Tapout Martial Arts and Self-defense, and Striking certified by Brandon “Six Guns” Gibson.
Benjamin Brown was one of the first MMA instructors in the world. His Kempo Martial Arts Instructor, Cecil Peoples, sent him to teach at Zane Frazier’s MMA School in February of 1994. Zane fought in UFC #1. Benjamin is a Grandmaster, He has a 10th Degree Black Belt in the Filipino Martial Arts, a 3rd Degree in Karate, and a Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.
Victor Pages has been pursuing his passion for martial arts and fitness for the past decade. Currently he holds a purple belt in jiu-jitsu and competes locally as an amateur fighter. In addition to his years of training and competing, Victor is certified by Jackson’s Martial Arts, run by Greg Jackson, for Tapout Martial Arts and Self-defense, and Striking certified by Brandon “Six Guns” Gibson.
Rebecca’s love for fitness started at the early age of 2, when she first started ballet; She continued dancing until age 13. In high school, she ran on the track team and in college, started exploring the gym, Pilates, and yoga. After studying psychology, Rebecca gained a deeper appreciation for the physical and psychological benefits yoga provides. Since 2013, Rebecca has been certified through CorePower Yoga's 200 Hour RYT Hot Yoga Teacher training. She is also now certified in Yoga Sculpt, 200 Hour RYT Power Yoga, Mini Yogi's Yoga for Kids, Yin/Restorative Yoga, Circuit training, Brand Gibson’s Striking Program and she leads certification training programs throughout Los Angeles.
Cassie Brandi has been rockin’ Zumba classes since 2011 and currently teaches around the Los Angeles area in gyms, corporate facilities, private parties and even cruise ships! Other formats she has taught include Aqua Zumba, Zumba Toning, and Zumbatomic (Zumba for Kids). “Every class is special to me. We forget we are working out because it always feels like a party!” As a professional performer, Cassie was drawn to Zumba because of the exhilarating feeling it gives her and has been addicted ever since. Come join her party!
As a professionally educated and trained dancer, functional mobility and flexibility are at the core of Tasha’s teachings. Graduating with a degree in Contemporary Dance from the University of New Mexico, Tasha went on to train in the art of aerial acrobatics and yoga. In addition to being the assistant manager at Tapout Fitness Woodland Hills, she holds a 300 hour Hatha yoga certification.

Tapout Martial Arts
Tapout Martial Arts Adults is for any adult who wants to learn martial arts no matter how old they are. This program offers a full study of the Tapout Martial Arts by Greg Jackson system, with a heavy emphasis on not only technique, but also tactical strategy and training methods that are unique to the system. Class consists of sport specific exercises, technique drills, and a variety of world class training methods developed by Greg Jackson to build UFC world champions. This is a progressive class and is open to anyone at any fitness level.
Tapout Martial Arts
Based on the Jackson Mixed Martial Arts program, Tapout Martial Arts Kids is an introduction to the world of martial arts. Students will learn traditional martial arts values such as respect, focus, and discipline in an environment that cultivates personal growth. Class consists of physical and mental exercises, mixed martial arts techniques, and games that are designed to benefit students both physically and mentally while sharpening their techniques.
Yoga has been around in some form for centuries and is one of the most popular of all group fitness classes. Great for toning your entire body and developing unbelievable flexibility, Tapout Fitness offers a unique and beautiful environment to participate in top-notch Yoga instruction while having access to all the other fitness products we offer.
Dancing is not only fun, but also it’s also one of the best aerobic style cardiovascular workouts you can do. Tapout Dance uses high-energy dance music to inspire you to build the body of a professional dancer, and have a great time doing it.
Tapout Strike is a 45-minute fitness based class using the newest striking techniques to get you in shape and looking your best. Based on the curriculum created by Coach Brandon Gibson of Jackson Wink MMA Academy, you will incorporate core body mechanics while learning the latest boxing and kickboxing combinations. Not only will you learn striking, you will also learn heavy bag and mitt work! Tapout Strike will start with a pre workout to get your blood pumping, move into conditioning and stretching, followed by fitness striking and a post workout. This class is for adults of all ages and all fitness levels.
An addictive 30-minute high intensity interval training (HIIT), boot camp style workout designed with functional fitness in mind. This combines Kettlebells, battle ropes, and explosive aerobic movements with anaerobic strength exercises that will maximize calorie burning and looking and feeling like a champion. Inspired coaching and powerful music will be with you every step of the way, providing you the motivation to achieve the body you always wanted. This class is for an adult of all ages, any fitness level, and will get you into the best shape of your life.
